We have acquired Dallas-based Forté Group, Inc., a leading public relations, brand, marketing and digital communications agency focused on senior living. As a result of the acquisition, we will form a new affiliate agency, Forté Senior Lifestyle Experts, a division of The Point Group.
When you look at the shifts in the population data across the country and in Texas the statistics are eye-popping. According to the latest Census, one in six Americans live in a multigenerational household, and AARP reports that 11 percent of all households have at least one grandparent living with them. Furthermore, our aging population is the highest growth segment. There are currently about 2.4 million individuals age 65+ in Texas alone, and the number is projected to be nearly 10 million by 2020.
